Our Response to Covid-19 Pandemic and Beyond

COVID-19, since its outbreak, has made a strong foothold across the world and left all kinds of lives disrupted, and businesses & economies paralyzed. While the recovery through this human tragedy will be a long-fought battle, industries, individuals, health organizations, governments, and world leaders are fighting this severe challenge at a scale to reassure our future is safe. We all shall live with this new normal till we know where we are heading and what’s waiting for us. However, this crisis has also brought out the best for few and rest are braving this pandemic.

Datamatics Business Solutions’ response to the COVID-19 situation has been all about:

  • People first and ensuring the safety of all our associates
  • Navigating clients by providing uninterrupted services, complaint operations and delivering quality outcomes at unmatched speed
  • Complying to the regulations from government and healthcare authorities

To neutralize the impact and help our customers stay certain, we have implemented several measures to ensure continued operations with minimized disruption by enabling our global workforce digitally. We have changed our working models to ‘work-from-home‘ and remain ‘open to business,’ ‘fully operational,’ ‘highly resilient,’ and ‘safe’ in this dynamic business environment.

Our Priority – Ensure the Safety and Wellbeing of our Employees and Associates

We have aligned our operations to the directives and guidelines issued by the local government & the World Health Organization (WHO) to have all employees work remotely and implement 100% remote working protocols. Our business continuity plans are in place and under constant vigil to help us continue to deliver on our promise of uninterrupted services to our customers.

In the initial phase of the outbreak, we took several proactive measures like travel restrictions, revocation of internal meetings, regular sanitization of our offices, and issuing social isolation directives, which helped to mitigate the impact of Covid-19. Since most of our employees operate from our offices, we launched a massive remote enablement program where our IT systems and support teams worked tirelessly to allow the entire workforce to work-from-home securely and seamlessly. We transitioned from the ‘office’ environment to ‘work-from-home’ model in a matter of 24 hours. We have also formed a cross-functional COVID-19 team to monitor the situation around the clock, as the safety and wellbeing of our employees is and will remain on the top of our priority list.

Business Continuity – Building Strong Operational Resilience

Living up to our customer-centricity values, we stand shoulder to shoulder with our customers in these unprecedented times. Our Business Continuity Plans have been reviewed thoroughly, and should the global circumstances turn adverse; we are confident of responding to changing business situations swiftly. We have provided the right tools and technology to our employees to help them stay as productive and connected as possible. We leverage best in class secure-access systems to connect all employees data, applications, IT systems, and other collaboration tools to keep them productive. We also have embraced cutting edge technologies to automate business processes wherever possible and to mitigate data-related risks by deploying high-encryption, protecting, and ensuring that customer data remains behind safe firewalls.

Datamatics Remains Open for Business

Our employees across the world are empowered to work remotely. We have built resiliency into our operations to ensure the availability of our critical customer-facing systems. We are open for business and can help companies to streamline their business operations in these disruptive times through our comprehensive set of BPM services.

Impact on Businesses

Covid-19 is having an increasing impact on the businesses across the globe. The rapid movement of the outbreak has led several countries to announce or extend the nationwide lockdown. The situation has caused severe disruptions in the global supply chain, especially for businesses dependent upon logistics to make import, manufacture, and export. Other industries that are witnessing a significant impact due to subdued or zero demand are Manufacturing, Travel & Tourism, ICT, Aviation, Oil & Gas, Retail, Real Estate, Automobiles, Packaging & Distribution, and Sports and Entertainment. Our Business & Industry Research unit has been publishing some thought-provoking views on the ‘Impact of COVID-19 on Businesses‘. These points of view serve as a guiding force for business leaders looking to navigate through these unprecedented times.

Preparing for the New Normal

Our hearts go out to all those who are impacted by the outbreak. What we are witnessing today might strongly influence and change how we live, work, travel, and socialize. Adapting to the new, different kind of normal, whenever it comes, will not be easy and would require empathy and resilience driven with collective human ingenuity.

We will be updating the information on this page based on how the situation around COVID-19 pandemic develops.
