We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing quality control processes, conducting testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Perform manual and automated testing of software applications/products
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve quality issues
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts
- Conduct performance, security, and usability testing
- Create and maintain quality documentation and standards
- Participate in code reviews and design reviews
- Monitor and report on quality metrics and KPIs
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or testing
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright, Cypress)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python and Typescript)
- Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, K6)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
